This page explains what torni-labs.com collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: nothing that identifies you is collected unless you accept analytics cookies or write to us.

Who is responsible

Torni Labs, an independent creative studio based in Portugal, runs this site and decides how its data is used. Write to [email protected] with any question about your data.

Visit counts without cookies

Every visit is counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn’t follow you across sites. We only see totals: pages viewed, the referring site, country, browser and device type. Our legitimate interest is knowing whether the site works and is being found.

Google Analytics, only if you accept

If you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics loads and sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_M3TK2YXN5R, which last up to two years. They tell apart new and returning visits and record which pages you view, roughly where you are (from your IP address, which Google doesn’t store), your device, browser and the site that sent you. Google Ireland processes this for us. Some data may reach Google in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Google Analytics deletes the detailed visit data after 2 months and anything tied to your cookie after 14 months without a visit. Reports keep only anonymous totals.

If you click Decline, Google Analytics never loads. You can change your mind at any time with the “cookies” button at the bottom right of every page. Declining after accepting deletes the Google cookies.

Your choice, stored on your device

Your Accept or Decline is saved in your browser’s local storage as torni-consent so the banner doesn’t ask again. It never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it handles your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks, and keeps short-lived security logs.

Email

If you write to us, we keep your message, name and address to reply and for as long as we work together, then for as long as the law requires for business records. Email is hosted by Zoho in the EU. We never sell it or add you to a mailing list.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, and object to or restrict how we use it. Email us and we’ll reply within a month. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
